Accessibility
Boulevard wants everyone, with or without a disability, to be able to use this site comfortably and independently. We have made the site accessible and will keep improving it.
Accessibility level
The site was built and tested to meet Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the WCAG guidelines at level AA, under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 2013.
What has been made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Alternative text for every image; visualisations carry the visible label "Illustrative visualisation only".
- Sufficient text contrast; buttons and tap targets of at least 44 pixels.
- Correct heading structure and the language declared on every page.
- Works on phones, tablets and computers, and zooms to 200% without losing content.
- Respects the device's "reduce motion" setting; nothing flashes or plays by itself.
- The film plays only when you press play, has controls, and is fully described in text below it. The film has no speech, only music.
- The mobile menu and the image viewer open and close with the keyboard, including Esc.
The accessibility menu
Every page has an accessibility button in the corner of the screen: larger text (115% or 130%), high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and stopping animations. Your settings stay in your browser and are not sent anywhere.
How the site was tested
The site was tested with automated tools (Lighthouse), entirely by keyboard, and at every screen width from a small phone to a wide screen, in Chrome. It is built for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Known limitations
- Villa Galilee's booking engine is an external service; its accessibility is the responsibility of its operator.
- The Hanotea 11 apartment images are visualisations until real photos are available.
- If any part of the site is not accessible enough for you, please tell us and we will fix it.
Accessibility at the places themselves
